Confirm the package
Open the official download destination and compare the displayed package information with your installed app. A changed filename alone is not evidence of a newer release.
Keep account access ready
Make sure your registered sign-in method works before updating. Save any non-sensitive information you need, such as your user reference, through the platform’s supported methods.
Install and check
Download the complete package, review the installer and allow Android to finish. Open the app and check that sign-in and the lobby load correctly. Close unused apps if your device is under memory pressure.
If the update fails
Do not immediately uninstall or clear app data. Read the error, verify storage and compatibility, and use the installation help guide. Contact support if the package conflicts with the installed version.
