Read the error first
An incomplete download, insufficient storage and an unsupported package are different problems. Note the exact Android message before changing settings.
Check the downloaded file
Wait for the download to finish. If it stopped part-way, remove the incomplete package and download again using the official Download APK link. Do not combine files from unrelated mirrors.
Check space and installation permission
Android needs space for both the package and temporary files. If prompted to allow installation, enable it only for the app opening the APK and turn it off afterward. Do not disable device protection to force an installation.

Confirm your device and Android version against the package requirements. Send support the error message and device model, without account credentials. Keep an existing working installation until you understand the update issue.
